Cross Domain / Sys Admin Support
The right candidate for the job will have knowledge of RedHat 7 & 8 utilizing a PostgreSQL database. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with the Army supporting Legacy and NextGen applications. You will be responsible for building a cross domain solution utilizing a Gov Cloud environment. You will be the SME that people turn to when system issues arise and a contact for our Government PM’s, providing top of the line customer service support. You will be responsible for tracking system performance and raising issues before they occur. Some knowledge of JAVA would be helpful to perform the initial analysis of issues. Cloud experience strongly recommended.
Responsibilities:
-Track daily performance trends and raise issues when trends deviate
– Initiate proactive customer notifications
- Manage tickets via ITSM
– Adhere to service level standards for all customers
– Develop and nurture successful long-term relationships with clients
- Provide application support
- Provide deployment support
- Work with Development teams to resolve customer issues
- Assist with patching and STIG’ing of the systems
- Attention to detail and professional communication skills are a must
- -Deploy & support a cross domain solution in conjunction with the Software Engineers utilizing Cloud provided services
Qualifications:
– BS or BA degree OR commensurate work experience
– Flexible team player willing to provide on call support - Security + Certification
- Linux Admin certification
- AWS Practitioner certification
- Top Secret Clearance (TS)
Experience with Linux command line and Bash, and Perl
