Senior System Engineer/System Architect
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active TOP SECRET/SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree in System’s Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
- 10 years’ experience in system architectural principles, methods, and techniques.
- Experience in analyzing emerging technologies that can be adapted into the cloud and/or virtualized environments.
- Experience identifying shortcomings in existing virtual or on-prem architectures
- Experience migrating from on-prem to cloud-based architectures and moving from legacy virtualization to containerization
- Experience in documenting future technology plans and integrating emerging technologies (hardware and software)
CERTIFICATIONS:
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification and compliance upon hire
- Baseline Certification – CISSP, CASP or equivalent upon hire
JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure that the architecture and design of DoD information systems are functional and secure
- Develop reference architecture for the system and identify systems engineering
- Develop, implement, and maintain reference architecture
- Assess the requirements of customers and businesses, design documents, and develop an architectural approach for integration of new capabilities into legacy architecture
- Provide technical advice for software development
- Address issues related to systems, compatibility, and software integration
